Hannes grew up in Hazyview, a small town near the Kruger National Park in Mpumalanga. He moved to Stellenbosch in 2008. In 2010 he obtained his B.Comm Financial Planning and Investment Management degree (cum laude) at the University of Stellenbosch.
He started working at Finfocus as a Financial Adviser in January 2011. He is currently busy with his Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning at the University of Stellenbosch Business School (USB).
Hannes believes in giving appropriate advice and compiling a tailor-made financial plan for each client. He frequently engages with his more senior colleagues to ensure his clients receive just that. He is still building his practice and doesn’t specialise in a specific area at this stage.
He enjoys reading, scuba diving and cooking.
